On October 25th, starts the 3rd World Congress on Genetics, Geriatrics and Neurodegenerative Diseases Research, taking place in Toronto, Canada️!
The “GeNeDis 2018″ with the title “Health Aging and Mental Wellness in the new digital era” is organized by the Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology Lab Ionian University - BiHeLab in cooperation with The Fields Institute and Wilfrid Laurier University between 25 to 28 October 2018. The congress includes various issues and roundtables on modern techniques of prevention, treatment and health research on Aging and neurological disorders in general.
Professor Stavros Taraviras with his speak “Getting insights into human hydrocephalus from mouse model” will be one of the invited speakers, among leading scientists and field researchers like Prof. George Paxinos, Prof. Nektarios Tavernarakis, Prof. Constantine Lyketsos, M.D. Benjamin Wolozin, Prof. Cliff Kentros, Assoc. Prof. Dimitrios Kapogiannis and many more, who will discuss the latest major challenges in the field of scientific research, for the new targets of drugs, to develop new biomarkers for new imaging techniques and new protocols for early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases, and for many other scientific achievements.
