On April 24-25, 2023, the ESPERANCE project officially launched with a successful kick-off meeting at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras. The event featured insightful seminars by Georgios A. Spyroulias, project coordinator, and key partners Stavros Taraviras and Zoi Lygerou.
Distinguished invited speakers also contributed to the event, including Kristina Djinovic Carugo, Harald Schwalbe, Thijn Brummelkamp, Hans Wienk, Maria Villiou, Arbi Marina, and others.
This meeting marked the beginning of a promising collaboration between the University of Patras and the Netherlands Cancer Institute, focusing on groundbreaking research in the field.
